Michele Drislane, LMHC, is a licensed mental health clinician based in Rhode Island and a dedicated leader committed to creating a supportive, collaborative space where individuals can explore their experiences and develop effective coping strategies. Grounded in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Michele’s approach is both compassionate and goal-oriented, helping clients move toward greater well-being in both her clinical work and her role as a clinical director.

Michele earned her master’s degree in Professional Studies from the School of Visual Arts, specializing in Art Therapy. With more than 18 years of experience, she has worked with youth, families, and adults in diverse settings, including treatment foster care and adoption programs, a child advocacy center, and a residential program for adults with disabilities.

Her clinical focus centers on individuals ages 10 through adulthood who have experienced complex trauma, particularly related to sexual abuse and assault. Michele’s background includes forensic interviewing, as well as facilitating support groups for women who are survivors of sexual assault.

Passionate about empowering clients, Michele has extensive experience supporting individuals coping with trauma, loss, anxiety, and depression. She integrates a range of therapeutic techniques to help clients build resilience, reclaim their sense of self, and create meaningful change in their lives.
