As a PLPC, Michaela offers support to children, adolescents, and adults navigating the tender terrain of trauma and grief. Her presence is rooted in the belief that healing happens in connection—through relationships that feel safe, attuned, and deeply human. She has experience in residential therapy, community mental health, and school-based services.
Michaela offers client-centered, compassionate care through a shared lens of hope and utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Expressive Arts/Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She believes in the body as much as the mind and often incorporates somatic, body aware techniques to help build capacity for safety and presence. Clients are met with curiosity, respect, and the conviction that every person carries an inner wisdom worth honoring.
Michaela enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband, as well as coaching softball, cooking new recipes, bird watching, and reading.
