Mike specializes in helping adults and young adults navigate challenges related to anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), he supports clients in building emotional resilience, developing practical coping strategies, and improving overall well-being.
Mike works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including emotion regulation, communication, relationship issues, grief, and questions of meaning or life direction. He is especially passionate about helping individuals manage the demands of modern life—whether it’s burnout, overthinking, or anxiety—with greater clarity and self-compassion.
Clients can expect assessment, collaborative goal setting, deep exploration, and the development of practical skills. As your therapist he will be curious, diligent, patient, and prepared. Mike is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
