Life can feel overwhelming, stressful, and out of control at times. Counseling offers a space to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what you’re carrying. My name is Mike, and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I strive to create a trusting, supportive environment where you feel safe to explore life’s challenges openly and without judgment.
My experience includes supporting individuals living with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, homelessness, and relationship challenges through couples counseling. I also have a deep appreciation for the experiences of veterans and the unique challenges they may face.
As an Adlerian therapist, I take a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, and soul. I believe our early experiences shape the way we see the world, and while those perspectives may have helped us survive childhood, they can sometimes limit us in adulthood. I walk alongside my clients as we explore these patterns together and work toward healthier, more empowering ways of understanding themselves and their relationships.
I earned my Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and offer the option to integrate biblical principles into therapy for clients who desire a faith-based approach. For those who prefer a non-religious experience, I provide evidence-based psychological support tailored to their needs and values
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing video games, sculpting, and spending time with my wife and our lovable labradoodle.
