Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Michael Bush has spent much of his life exploring the world, living in places like Atlanta, San Diego, Shanghai (China), Penang (Malaysia), and Bangkok (Thailand). His experiences abroad have shaped his unique approach to therapy, blending Eastern mindfulness principles with a practical, Southern American mindset to create a balanced, down-to-earth style of counseling.
Michael is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a deep passion for working with neurodivergent individuals, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, identity struggles, and life transitions. His sessions are a mix of insight-building, skill development, and self-acceptance, always tailored to the individual’s needs. He believes therapy should be a place where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward.
Beyond therapy, Michael is a writer and musician, regularly releasing original music and novels. His creative pursuits inform his work, helping clients tap into their own strengths and self-expression. Whether through storytelling, music, or mindfulness, he encourages clients to embrace their unique journey and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
When he’s not in session, Michael can be found writing, recording music, or spending time outdoors—always looking for inspiration in the world around him.
