Michael Boutet, MFTA

Therapist

Life does not come with a manual, and many people find themselves navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or trauma without clear direction. If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what is next, you do not have to face it alone.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by working with people across many stages of life. Before private practice, I worked as a preschool teacher, teacher’s aide, camp counselor, and in community roles supporting at risk youth, individuals impacted by addiction, and children, young adults, and couples with trauma histories. These experiences inform my relational, grounded, and compassionate approach to therapy.

I believe healing begins when we stop carrying everything alone. Therapy is collaborative, and I strive to create a safe, authentic space where connection leads to meaningful change. Outside the therapy room, I am a published poet who loves to cook, read, and collect VHS tapes.
