Maryam Rasheed, Supervisee in Clinical Social Work

Mental Health Therapist

Maryam works with children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, life stressors and and identity exploration. She believes that people are not defined by their struggles, but by their resilience and capacity to grow.

Maryam approaches each client with curiosity, openness, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to feel understood and uplifted. She grounds her practice in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (CBT/DBT) to support positive change, blending these tools with insight and acceptance-oriented approaches to help clients be kinder and more compassionate toward themselves.

It’s a privilege to walk alongside people through their journeys, and see the amazing strengths, the wisdom, and the often iconic humor they hold within them.
