Marissa specializes in working with adults who may feel stuck or at a crossroads in their life as well as those who seem to have the same themes and patterns keep coming up, preventing them from living the life they want to live. She also has experience in working with the chronically ill and geriatric population who may have found it hard to find someone who understands what they are going through. Her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness. Marissa believes that the therapeutic alliance can have a huge impact on the efficacy of therapy. She is strongly committed to creating a safe space to help clients achieve satisfaction in all areas of their lives (college, career, family, relationships, aging and more.)
When she is not working she enjoys spending time hiking, trying new restaurants, practicing yoga or taking her pup out and about.
