Marilyn is a Pre-licensed Mental Health Clinician with over two decades of experience in the behavioral health field. Since 2003, she has provided clinical services to diverse populations, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions.
Her primary area of specialization is trauma treatment, and she is formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She integrates additional evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Marilyn also holds certification in the Triple P—Positive Parenting Program.
A graduate of Lesley University, Marilyn is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She is bilingual in English and Spanish and delivers therapy to adults, couples, and families, with a particular focus on individuals impacted by trauma. Her clinical approach is grounded in person-centered and family systems theories, emphasizing problem resolution and behavioral modification within a structured, evidence-based framework.
