Malinda (Mindy) Jackson, LCPC, CRC

Therapist

With over 14 years of experience, I help children, teens, and adults move through anxiety, trauma, depression, and life transitions in a space built on trust, respect, and hope.

I know that deciding to start therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make the process feel safe, empowering, and judgment-free. I believe therapy works best when it’s rooted in mutual trust and respect, and when you feel recognized as the expert of your own journey.

I work with children, teens, and adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, PTSD and trauma, personality disorders, grief, anger management, and difficult life transitions. My approach is solution-focused, collaborative, and designed to help you build the tools you need for real and lasting change.

I draw from CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, and mindfulness practices. Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient and outpatient hospital programs, community mental health, and private practice, giving me a wide range of experience to meet clients wherever they are.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University and my MA in Counseling with a specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling from Adler School of Professional Psychology. More than anything, I believe therapy is about healing, building resilience, and creating the life you truly want to live.
