Maddy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) who is passionate about working with individual’s across the lifespan. Maddy obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph.
Maddy uses a warm, strengths based approach with her clients as well as evidence based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She enjoys using collaboration, mindfulness based interventions, and a lot of humor, fun and creativity in sessions.
Maddy has experience in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, challenges with self-esteem/self-worth, imposture syndrome as well as interpersonal challenges. In her work, she sees the importance of authenticity, empathy, validation, honesty, and mutual trust. Maddy has a strong desire to help her clients live a life where they feel seen, heard, understood, and confident.
