Mackenzie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Purdue University and her master’s degree in social work from Indiana University. She has experience working in community mental health with children, families, and adults. She is skilled in both play and talk therapy techniques. Specific areas of expertise include grief, mental health, and behavior.
Mackenzie is passionate about helping people of all ages heal from trauma, navigate challenges, and build resilience. She enjoys supporting clients in creating meaningful lives and healthy relationships. Mackenzie uses a collaborative, client-centered approach, focusing on each person’s unique needs and identified goals. She has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solutions Focused-Brief therapy.
In her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, spending time with her family, creative projects, and traveling.
