Lorna is a Licensed Social Worker with over 25 years helping people deal with a variety of difficult life situations and problems. She graduated from Rutgers University with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work. Her professional experience includes working in various mental health, health care and domestic violence settings.
Using a collaborative approach between the therapist and client, Lorna uses different approaches including Mindfulness, CBT and Person-Centered techniques. She employs authenticity and humor to help you start to understand how you got to where you are and consider possibilities to get to where you could be.
If you are grappling with anxiety, depression, or addiction issues, Lorna will work with you to overcome these challenges.
