Lita is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Ball State University and her master’s degree in social work with a focus on mental health and addictions from Indiana University. She has experience working in community mental health with children, families, and adults facing both mental health and substance use challenges.
Lita believes in working collaboratively with clients, empowering them, and helping them identify and utilize their unique strengths in the treatment process. She partners with clients to explore what a life worth living looks like for them and to develop personalized treatment goals to achieve that vision.
She has experience using therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In her free time, Lita enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, playing games, and crocheting.
