Lindsay Newton, MA, NCC

Therapist

Lindsay earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and completed her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Duquesne University. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, eating and feeding concerns, and complex trauma.

Lindsay’s therapeutic style is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s individuality. She believes therapy is a collaborative journey, and often likes to ask her clients: how deep in the ocean are you prepared to go? No matter your answer, she’ll meet you there—with empathy, authenticity, and care.

Lindsay utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and a client-centered framework to support growth and healing. Above all, she strives to create a safe and affirming space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore your inner world—she is currently accepting new clients.
