Leslie M. Ortiz Gonzalez, MSW, LMSW, LCDC-I

Therapist

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

Seeking support can be one of the most courageous steps a person takes. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, self-esteem concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to face it alone.

I am Leslie M. Ortiz Gonzalez, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I) in Texas, practicing under the clinical supervision of Arisza Hillman, LCSW-S. I have over 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through life’s most difficult challenges. My experience spans community mental health, behavioral healthcare, trauma recovery, crisis intervention, substance use treatment, refugee services, collaborative care, and telehealth services.

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation, and trauma-informed care. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore barriers to change, and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life you want to create.

As a bilingual therapist, I proudly provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive and inclusive environment where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to help you build resilience, gain insight, improve coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe healing happens through connection, self-compassion, and empowerment. No matter where you are in your journey, I am committed to meeting you where you are and walking alongside you every step of the way.
