Leah Lauterberg-Huss is a Licensed Social Worker specializing in children and youth, with certifications in Human-Animal-Environmental Interactions and Geek Therapeutics. She uses an emotion-focused, humanistic approach grounded in CBT, narrative therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness.
Leah has experience supporting clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, mood disorders, ODD, and developmental delays. She is passionate about helping clients feel safe being their authentic selves and incorporates geek culture, pop culture, and nature-based interactions into therapy.
Prior to joining Ellie, Leah worked in K-12 schools and traveled extensively as a military spouse.
