As a clinician, Laurel is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and an experienced practitioner. Laurel works closely with clients, using an interpersonal style. She is trained in EMDR and uses a strength-based approach. Laurel works hard to create a judgement free space for all her clients.
Laurel has worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults of all ages. Active listening, reframing, creating a sense of safety, and humor are some of the many techniques she uses to work and engage clients. Laurel uses a combination of CBT, DBT and humanist approaches, in order to reach each individual’s needs.
Outside of work, Laurel enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, reading, and watching movies.
