Laura is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory status and over 30 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Her professional experience includes working with issues such as stress/anxiety, depression, trauma, AD/HD, loss, foster care and adoption, and behavior problems. She also has experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and individuals with physical, developmental and intellectual challenges. She enjoys working with ages 5-adult. Laura uses a strength focused and holistic approach developed through compassionate and person centered care with an emphasis on meeting individuals where they are to help them get where they want to be. She utilizes cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, trauma focused and mindfulness approaches to fit each individual’s needs and life goals. She has been honored to witness the resiliency and strength of individuals on their journey to healing
and mental health. Outside of work Laura enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, biking and trips to the beach.
