Lataunia is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling and human development from Lindsey Wilson University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in African American Studies from The Ohio State University.
Lataunia is licensed as a professional counselor, a chemical dependency counselor assistant, and as a certified family peer supporter.
Lataunia has several years of experience in working with adults, and children seven years and older. She is experienced in working with individuals with ADHD, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, family counseling, trauma, and adjustment disorders. She uses an eclectic empathetic person centered approach, integrating evidence-based modalities.
Lataunia has been employed by the state of Ohio for thirty-one years and is eager to bring her years of public service experience into working towards her clients’ behavioral health goals, promoting self-care initiatives, assisting and advocating empowering individuals and families as well as advocating for social justice.
Lataunia’s experience provides her with the talents to ensure that the clients’ integrity and confidentiality remain intact. She believes that it is imperative to preserve compliance with the organizations missions, visions, and goals.
When Lataunia isn’t working she enjoys going to her son’s college football games, traveling, shopping, and providing community service through her church or other community organizations.
