Larry Rencher is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) dedicated to helping individuals discover their strengths, overcome life’s challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
He enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, recognizing that each stage of life brings unique challenges and opportunities for growth. Larry’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. He tailors each session to align with each client’s strengths, goals, and personal interests.
Larry believes therapy should feel engaging and relatable. Whether connecting through sports, music, movies, books, video games, or other shared interests, he incorporates what matters most to his clients to build trust, strengthen the therapeutic relationship, and create a more meaningful counseling experience.
