Kristen Taylor, LCSW-C

Therapist

Kristen (she/they) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting school-age children, teens, and neurodivergent and/or LGBTQ+ folks of all ages as they work through challenges like anxiety, depression, burnout, and shame toward lives of authentic self-expression, connection, and purpose. In her direct work with families, she helps caregivers identify their child’s strengths and skills, set appropriate expectations, and interpret children’s behaviors as communication. With individuals, Kristen uses an eclectic approach, integrating play and art therapy techniques, DBT, and other interventions dependent on their client’s needs and preferences. Kristen is committed to providing warm, neurodiversity-affirming, and anti-oppressive care and advancing their core professional values of social justice and equity. She received her Master of Social Work from Howard University.
