Kevin Wilson is a Licensed Associate Counselor and received his master’s degree from Kean University’s Clinical Mental Health Program. Kevin is a dedicated trauma-informed mental health professional who strives to build trusted rapport that fosters the therapeutic relationship with his clients. He has a genuine desire to help people in need and is passionate about his clients’ wellness journey of both healing and growth.

He has experience with diverse populations while demonstrating and modeling emotional intelligence and effective communication. Kevin attends to both adolescents and adult clients and aids them by guiding them through life’s many events and transitions. Kevin is on track to become a certified Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician. He hopes to add infants, toddlers and children to his caseload and is confident in his abilities to guide a family in need with proper preventive interventions.

Kevin greets his clients with a person-centered, strength-based, solution-focused approach. He uses compassion, humor and honesty during his sessions, and these core values anchor his approach.

Kevin has extensive experience with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing and explores these methods with both willing and resistant clients. His clinical experience includes school settings, in-home, and outpatient settings (both in-person and Telehealth).
