Kelsie Payne (also known as KP) received her BA in Psychology from Maryville College and her MA from Ball State University. Her studies focused on Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as Sport and Exercise Psychology! She has been providing mental health services to the community since 2018. As a therapist, she believes that finding the right therapist to fit your needs is an important step in the counseling process. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples, and athletes to find their inner strengths and build resilience. She has experience in working with individuals from all walks of life that are living with depression, grief, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, psychosis, and so one. She believes it is important for clients to feel empowered by the work they do in therapy. She uses a humanistic, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy with a variety of interventions (CBT, DBT, sand tray, art therapy, etc), based on each client’s individual needs. In her free time, KP enjoys playing softball, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys relaxing at home and spending time with her cats, Rocky and Nancy.
