Katie is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She has experience supporting adolescents and adults in navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. She is committed to fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their strengths, build self-awareness, and process emotions and experiences. She aims to provide clients with practical tools and insights to better understand how anxiety, depression, and trauma impact their lives, empowering them to approach challenges with confidence.

As an EMDR therapist, she specializes in guiding clients through the recovery process from trauma and psychological distress by helping them reprocess and transform painful memories. She also integrates various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, family walks, meal prepping, and exploring coffee shops.
