Starting therapy takes courage. When you step into a session with me, you’re stepping into a space built on trust, acceptance, and collaboration. No two people have the same story, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Instead, I meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be, at a pace that feels right for you. I strive to create a calm, welcoming space where you feel safe, seen, and heard.
I work best with adults, older teens, and family members who are navigating difficult life experiences—especially those impacted by trauma, domestic violence, addiction, grief and loss, anxiety or mood disorders. I have a particular passion for supporting women, trauma survivors, and LGBTQ+ individuals, and I bring a deep sense of empathy, authenticity, and nonjudgment into each session.
My clinical style is evidence based, trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and deeply collaborative. Therapy with me often includes elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, harm reduction, and solution-focused work. I’m also a strong believer in the power of creativity, self-reflection, and flexible thinking, especially when life feels chaotic or uncertain.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people during some of their most vulnerable moments—unpacking grief, navigating trauma, redefining identity, rebuilding confidence, and learning how to communicate and care for themselves in new ways. Together, we’ve worked on setting boundaries, managing stress, and finding purpose and healing in places that felt broken.
Outside the therapy room, you might find me drinking coffee, listening music, reading, spending time with my family, friends and my dog, Abby!. I bring my full self into this work, I am compassionate, present, and ready to walk with you through whatever challenges you’re facing.
Therapy doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. If you’re ready to begin or simply curious about what healing could look like, it would be a privilege to be part of your journey.
