Kathryn is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and holds an MS in clinical mental health counseling from Capella University as well as an MA in religious studies from Cardinal Stritch University. Kathryn works with adults in calming anxiety, navigating relationship concerns, processing grief, improving communication skills, living mindfully, and overcoming feelings of discouragement. facing anxiety, life transitions, stress management, communication concerns, and/or grief. In session, Kathryn strives to approach you and your needs with genuine compassion, empathy, and honesty (sometimes with a dash of humor, too) while gently challenging and encouraging you in your journey with practical tools to live authentically and tap into your strengths. She recognizes the sacredness of each person’s story and uses Adlerian, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Strengths based, and Solutions focused strategies to help people live authentically. Kathryn also incorporates faith into counseling if desired.
