Kathryn is a licensed professional counselor in training (LPC-IT) and holds an MS in clinical mental health counseling from Capella University as well as an MA in religious studies from Cardinal Stritch University. Kathryn sees individuals age 18+ and couples primarily facing anxiety, life transitions, stress management, communication concerns, and/or grief. In session, Kathryn strives to understand and approach you and your needs with genuine compassion, empathy, and honesty (sometimes with a dash of humor, too) while gently challenging and encouraging you in your journey. Kathryn recognizes the sacredness of each person’s story and uses Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strengths Based Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy to help people live authentically. Kathryn also utilizes Christian based counseling if desired.
