Katie received her MSW from George Mason University and has experience in school settings and at a child advocacy center, supporting clients with emotional and behavioral needs. She is passionate about working with children and adolescents and uses Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with clients who have experienced sexual abuse and other traumas. She also incorporates play therapy and sand tray therapy to foster expressive healing.

Katie has worked with children of all ages and diverse backgrounds, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, and has experience supporting clients with PTSD, depression, grief, and abuse. She is committed to creating a safe, affirming space where clients can show up as they are. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, attending music festivals, and exploring artistic outlets.
