Kate Homel, MA, LPCC

Therapist

Kate works with individuals navigating life transitions, trauma, identity exploration, and parenting. She integrates creative expression and art therapy into a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to help clients explore their experiences.

Kate earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University and approaches therapy from a trauma-informed, feminist, and client-centered perspective. She believes healing happens through curiosity, validation, and authentic connection, and works with clients to develop practical coping skills while deepening self-understanding. Kate is passionate about the role creativity can play in the therapeutic process and is currently pursuing additional training in art therapy. She views creative expression as a powerful way to explore identity, access deeper emotions, and discover meaning during times of transition or uncertainty.

She has a special interest in supporting individuals and families navigating the transition into parenthood and strives to create a nurturing and empowering environment for perinatal clients and young families.

Outside of her clinical work, Kate enjoys practicing yoga, making art, spending time in nature, reading, long baths, naps, and spending time with the people she loves.
