Karla Roeglin, MA/PLPC

Therapist Under the Clinical Supervision of Kristen Abell, LPC

Karla Roeglin is passionate about helping people (even very young children!) sort through their challenges and move forward with confidence. She strives to help her clients feel safe and at home in her office filled with toys, games, art supplies, and tissues… and to ultimately feel safe and at home with their emotions. Karla is a former elementary and middle school teacher who holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Missouri St. Louis. She has training in play therapy, family therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and trauma-informed therapy and has experience helping children, teens, and adults work through traumatic events, adjustment issues, family/attachment/parenting issues, grief, suicide ideation, self-harm, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, she has a heart for reaching out to children and adolescents in the Ellie community to provide them with the emotional tools they need to cope, grow, and thrive. Outside of sessions, Karla enjoys hiking, music, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and children.
