Karen earned her BA in Psychology and Studio Art from Agnes Scott College and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in systemic sex therapy from National University.
Karen approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, creativity, and deep respect for the many ways people learn to survive, connect, protect themselves, and make meaning of their lives. She is especially passionate about helping clients explore relationships, intimacy, desire, grief, trauma, and the stories they have carried about who they are, what they need, and what is possible for them.
