Kara is a limited licensed social worker who strives to provide a safe, warming space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered. She holds a Masters Degree in social work from Grand Valley State University.

She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults with areas of interest in anxiety, stress, burnout, and attachment and relationship struggles. She has specific experience working closely with schools, elementary aged children,emotional regulation, and has a background in women and gender studies.

Her therapy style is collaborative, kind, with a bit of humor to add lightness to the heavy stuff.

In her free time she enjoys reading psychological thrillers, watching reality tv, running, drinking coffee, and hanging out with friends and family.
