Joy’s mission is to cultivate a creative, safe environment that is client-centered and collaborative. With a background in Social Work, Women’s, Genders and Sexualities Studies, and Addiction/Substance use, she uses a combination of philosophical frameworks that encourage authenticity, embrace empathy, and honor lived experiences. A passionate advocate of healing and growth, she enjoys working with a wide range of people. Joy’s primary experience has been with youth, teens, adults, Veterans, people without housing, those with substance use issues, and those in the LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC community. She uses an intersectional lens to provide holistic and individualized care to folks.
