Jose M. Viruet, LCPC is a bilingual Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Illinois, with over 20 years of experience as a public speaker, trainer, and program developer. He has specialized training in group therapy, substance abuse, EMDR, the Transition-to-Independence Process (TIP) model, de-escalation, leadership development, and trauma-informed practices.
Currently, Jose serves as the Clinic Director for Ellie Mental Health where he focuses on developing and strengthening leadership teams, enhancing staff satisfaction, establishing standards of care, expanding access to behavioral health services, and implementing trauma-informed care across various settings.
