Jessica Nuñez, LSW

Bilingual Therapist

As a bilingual therapist, I am deeply dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their journey to healing. I am a licensed social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University. My professional experience spans various roles, including work with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), assisting victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as positions in higher education.

I work with clients who are facing or have faced challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, sexual abuse, panic disorder, and other life difficulties. My extensive professional background has enhanced my understanding of the struggles many individuals encounter.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to my clients’ needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where I act as a compassionate guide, empowering clients to navigate their path toward well-being. Additionally, I am a certified Reiki practitioner and incorporate holistic approaches to promote healing and balance when desired.

Outside of my professional life, I love spending time with my children, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and listening to music. I also find joy in practicing yoga, cooking, and meditating as forms of self-care.
