Jennifer Davis, MA, LCAT, ATR-BC

Therapist

Ms. Jennifer Davis serves individuals and groups who cope with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss; are developing self-actualization and healthy relationships; or managing chronic and severe mental illness. Jennifer offers services to children and adults. Her work is inspired by a mother who was a pioneer nursing supervisor and a father who was a self-taught artist. An appreciation of physical and mental health was cultivated after working at the Boston University Medical Center and fortified through graduate school and subsequent training in NYC agencies that served various underrepresented communities.
Currently, Jennifer specializes in trauma-informed work, such as ecotherapy, which uses nature to promote healing and growth. Overall, Jennifer’s practice is eclectic. In addition to expressive art therapies, various modalities are used based on an individual’s diverse needs. This includes CBT, DBT, Solution-Oriented, Trauma-Informed, Motivational, and Mindfulness approaches.
Ms. Davis is a nationally registered art therapist and will be dual-licensed as an LMHC in Massachusetts in 2025. She remains a consultant within a Wellness team for families served by the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services in Washington, DC, board member of TWW Inc, an arts-in-education nonprofit organization, and member of CATs of Color, ATCB, AATA, and the Massachusetts’ MHCA.
