Jena Hassert, LSW

Outpatient Therapist

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and have experience working with adolescents in school settings and serving as a Family Consultant in a community mental health setting. I believe life often presents challenges that are hard to navigate alone. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel empowered to face those challenges and grow into the best version of themselves. Therapy may not be the official guide to life, but it’s a close second and I’m here to walk alongside you through the process!

I take a holistic, solution-focused approach, using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, all within a person-centered framework, because every individual is different and therapy should reflect that. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, ADHD, and daily stressors. Being certified in trauma-informed care, I aim to create a safe, empathetic space for healing. Together, we can explore thoughts, identify patterns, and develop tools for lasting growth. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors (especially by the lake), working out, and spending time with friends, family, and my fur babies.
