Making the choice to attend therapy is a wonderful first step but this first step can also stir up a plethora of emotions. Therapy allows us a space to be vulnerable, which can be terrifying at first as it can unravel feelings that we are not ready to face. It allows us to explore feelings and emotions that we feel cannot be explored with our friends and family. Therapy is also exhilarating when you’re able to accomplish your own personal goals and see the progress within yourself. Therapy is a way to empower yourself.

I am here to help guide you on this journey. I have worked in multiple settings over the past ten years such as inpatient, residential, school-based, and substance abuse. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, mood disorders, ADHD, incarceration, and probation/parole. My therapy style is adaptable to my client’s needs. Some of the modalities I tend to use include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered. I strive to create an environment that is supportive, warm, safe, flexible and collaborative.

I see ages 6-65!
