Jamie Heffler, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Therapist

Making the choice to attend therapy is a wonderful first step, but it can also stir up a wide range of emotions. Therapy invites us into a space of vulnerability, which can feel intimidating as it may uncover feelings we may not yet feel ready to face. It offers an opportunity to explore thoughts and emotions that can be difficult to share with friends or family. At the same time, therapy can be deeply empowering—allowing you to set personal goals, discover your strengths, and witness your own growth. I am here to help guide you on that journey.

I am an LCSW with thirteen years of experience across multiple settings, including inpatient, residential, school-based, and substance treatment. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, substance issues, mood disorders, ADHD, and challenges related to incarceration or probation/parole.

My therapeutic approach is adaptable to each client’s needs. I draw from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered modalities. I strive to create an environment that is warm, supportive, safe, flexible, and collaborative. I also provide a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ+-affirming space for all clients. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
