Starting therapy is a brave and personal step—and I deeply honor the strength it takes to begin. I approach therapy with curiosity, empathy, and a strong belief in the healing power of insight. In our work together, I strive to be a thoughtful partner in your journey, helping you explore your experiences, challenge patterns, and connect with the deeper parts of yourself that deserve space, voice, and care.
As a therapist, I’m inquisitive, grounded, and passionate about truly getting to know the people I work with. I approach each session with cultural awareness, warmth, and openness, and I believe that trust and honesty—within ourselves and in relationship—can lead to meaningful growth. I bring structure when needed, but I always allow space for nuance, emotion, and curiosity. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about expanding your capacity to navigate life with honesty and intention.
Before we begin, I want you to know that healing is not a straight line. It’s a winding path with unexpected turns and moments of discovery. There may be detours, pauses, and discomfort—and yet, progress will still unfold. We’ll move through that process together, and I’ll be right beside you to celebrate your growth and hold space during the hard stuff.
Clients tend to connect with me through my love of books—especially the ones with psychological twists, romance, and thought-provoking themes. I’m constantly learning, whether it’s through reading, listening, or deep conversations. That love for exploration shows up in therapy too—I want to understand what makes you you.
In our sessions, I specialize in working with individuals navigating complex emotional experiences. My clinical expertise includes post-traumatic stress, acute stress, major depressive disorder, prolonged grief, generalized and social anxiety, bipolar disorder, and domestic violence recovery. I also support clients through significant relational challenges, including separation/divorce, infidelity, fertility concerns, and dating stressors. Many of my clients are working professionals, students, or caregivers trying to find their footing while holding a great deal—and I provide a space that’s compassionate and steady in the midst of that.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals from racially, culturally, and spiritually diverse backgrounds. My work is grounded in a culturally attuned lens, and I often serve clients who identify as Black, Latinx, Asian, multiracial, first-generation, Muslim, Christian/Catholic, bisexual, pansexual, or anywhere on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. I create a space where intersectional identity isn’t just acknowledged—it’s centered.
Much of my work focuses on boundaries, values, and core beliefs. I believe boundaries are an invitation to show people how we want to be treated—and exploring those limits can help foster emotional safety and self-respect. In our sessions, I often highlight patterns in behavior and relationships to help you better understand yourself and move forward with confidence.
I love working with neurodivergent individuals, and I bring an affirming, curious lens to those conversations. You don’t need to “mask” or be anything other than your full self in our space.
Therapeutically, I draw from a blend of Reality Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt principles, and attachment-based work. I also incorporate parts work, somatic awareness, and culturally responsive practices to ensure therapy aligns with your unique needs and values.
When our work together concludes, I hope you leave with a toolkit full of skills and a deeper sense of who you are—one rooted in self-awareness, agency, and emotional growth. Most of all, I hope you walk away feeling more empowered to navigate your life with clarity, compassion, and strength.
