Hunter Lore, PLPC

Therapist Under Supervision of Susan Fuller, LPC

Each person deserves to create an authentic, meaningful, and content life for themselves. I believe in supporting clients along this journey of self-discovery, self-care, and healing. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment that encourages you to face challenges, develop healthier coping skills, build positive relationships, and reach your personal goals. Whether you are working through life transitions, overcoming past traumatic experiences, or just dealing with the daily stressors of being a person, I am here to help you grow and thrive.

I am a PLPC practicing under the clinical supervision of Susan Fuller, LPC. I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University. I work from an eclectic therapeutic lens that primarily draws from Person-Centered and humanistic approaches. I also apply evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), and trauma-informed modalities to build a treatment plan that best fits your unique needs and goals. Our therapy will be collaborative, warm, and genuine — because I believe a real connection full of humor, compassion, and imperfections is the perfect space for healing.

I work with individuals (14+) and couples. I have experience working with diverse client populations, including teens, adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and first responders, and various presenting problems such as life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ support, and neurodivergent support. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, and with concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem and body image issues, relationship problems, and women’s issues.

Outside the therapy office, you can find me drinking copious amounts of iced coffee, spending time with my two cats, attending a local farmers market, singing karaoke (poorly), taking a nap, going for a walk, or enjoying a good arts-and-crafts project. When you are ready to begin this journey, I would love to connect with you to learn more and see if we are a good therapeutic match!
