Hope Lester, LPC-A

Therapist

Hope is a genuine and empathetic therapist who graduated from Fairfield University with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Her work is grounded in a compassionate, reflective, client-centered approach with an emphasis on creating a safe, fun, and collaborative therapeutic space. She is passionate about helping adolescents and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships.

Hope believes that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Rather, she integrates a well-rounded view of human nature with holistic wellness. She tailors her therapeutic approach to compliment client needs and will meet them wherever they are in life. Hope practices therapy often using creativity, humor, and perspective-taking to bring about greater self-awareness and balance in one’s life.

Her mindset rests in the view that therapy is not a linear process, but one that sheds light on different areas of growth and recognizes the hard work clients put forth to improve their own mental well-being.

Outside of work, you can find Hope enjoying nature with her Golden Retriever, Stella, doing arts and crafts, gardening, trying new recipes, and spending time with her friends and family.
