Hayley Dobbs, LPC-MHSP


Hayley is a Nashville native whose passion and heart for helping children led her to pursue a career in counseling. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Go Vols! From there she went on to receive her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. Hayley believes in making a connection through kinetic learning and play therapy to help children and adolescents in creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere where they may process through any traumas and/or learn necessary coping skills. Along with play therapy, she has a strong background in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to further assist children in understanding the connection between their thoughts and emotions and how they relate to their behaviors. Hayley has worked diligently in gaining experience working with ADHD, anxiety, anger, depression, grief, and trauma. Her drive and ambition to become a consistent and reliable person for her clients as they struggle with uncertainties during vital phases in their lives has pushed her to further advance her knowledge in the field.
