Grace Moran, QMHP

Therapist

If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you (or your child) with kindness, creativity, and maybe even a little humor—hi, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you’re a parent navigating big emotions in your kiddo, a teen feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to talk about it, or an adult trying to make sense of your own story, I’m here to hold a space where you can breathe, explore, and begin to feel more like yourself again.

I’m Grace (she/her), a therapist with a background in clinical mental health and applied behavior analysis, and I bring a balance of calm, playful curiosity and clinical depth into the therapy room. My style is supportive, compassionate, and affirming—I’m someone who will sit with you in the tough stuff while also reminding you that healing can include laughter, creativity, and even moments of joy. Sometimes therapy looks like diving into deep reflection, and other times it looks like expressive art, grounding movement, or games with meaning beneath them. At the heart of everything I do is the intention to help you or your child feel grounded, accepted, and ready to explore what healing looks like for you.

Therapy with me is meant to feel approachable, validating, and like a space where you can finally exhale. I meet you where you are—whether you’re overwhelmed, unsure, or just beginning to untangle what you’re carrying—and walk alongside you as you learn, process, and grow. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and responsive to your needs. I integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT, motivational interviewing, and person-centered techniques, often weaving in mindfulness and play therapy when it’s helpful. Whether we’re building coping skills, processing past experiences, or navigating a tough transition, our work together is tailored to support you in that moment and beyond.

I love working with children, preteens, teens, young adults, and families—especially those facing challenges like emotional dysregulation, school avoidance, family strain, or feeling tangled in anxious thoughts, depressive symptoms, or the stress that often comes with major life transitions. I also work with folks managing self-harm, suicidal thoughts, OCD, and eating disorders. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients and LGBTQIA+ individuals of all ages. You don’t have to explain every part of who you are here. I see you. And I’ll always hold a space that invites you to unmask, unfold, and feel safe being your full self.

If you’re a parent feeling stuck or unsure how to support your child through anxiety, emotional outbursts, or shutdowns—let’s work through it together. Therapy can be a space for your child to develop emotional language, confidence, and self-regulation skills—and for you to feel more empowered, too. I’ve helped many families reconnect and move from frustration to understanding, even when things have felt chaotic or disconnected for a long time.

In our work, I hope you’ll walk away with more than just symptom relief. My goal is for you to gain clarity, confidence, and real tools to help you manage stress, build emotional awareness, and feel more empowered in your daily life. Whether that means naming and honoring your emotions, practicing healthier communication, and showing up for yourself with self-compassion—I want you to feel equipped, not just informed.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical. It can be creative. It can be honest. And yes—it can even be fun. However you arrive—with messy feelings, guarded hope, or zero idea what to say—I’ll meet you there, just as you are. You don’t have to do this alone. I’ll be right here with you, every step of the way.
