Gemma Lynch, LMSW, is an EMDR-trained therapist who works with adults and transitional-age clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, emotional regulation challenges, dissociation, and life transitions. She integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) within a person-centered, culturally responsive framework to help clients better understand their experiences and build practical tools for lasting change.
Gemma earned her Master’s in Social Work from Adelphi University and has worked in inpatient, correctional, and community mental health settings. These diverse experiences have shaped her belief that healing begins when people feel safe, supported, and truly understood. She brings a calm, steady presence to the therapy room and values creating a collaborative space where clients feel empowered in their growth.
Clients often describe Gemma as genuine, warm, and easy to talk to. She is committed to fostering a grounded, nonjudgmental environment where individuals can reconnect with themselves, process difficult experiences, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
