Garrett is a dedicated therapist with extensive practical experience in both inpatient and outpatient treatment of mental health. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Aside from academia, Garrett has a passion for mindfulness and has attended workshops with mindfulness pioneer John Kabat-Zinn. Garrett utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based theories, to create a non “cookie cutter” plan and truly customizes your unique therapeutic needs. Garrett’s approach is compassionate and patient-focused, aiming to create a supportive and understanding environment for all ethnicities and needs.
In his spare time, he enjoys writing comedy, practicing martial arts and spending time with his twin Schnauzers.
