Growing up today can feel like a lot to carry. Kids are learning how to handle big emotions earlier than ever. Teens are balancing friendships, school expectations, sports, social pressure, and the constant noise of comparison. Young adults are often trying to figure out confidence, identity, relationships, and where they fit in the world. Therapy can be a place where all of that slows down—a space to think clearly, process honestly, and reconnect with who you are underneath the pressure.

Hi, I’m Fiona Gaudio. I work with children (4+), teens, and young adults who are navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, confidence and self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, and life transitions. My style in the therapy room is warm, calm, and creative. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, comfortable, and genuine—where clients feel safe showing up exactly as they are. Therapy with me is collaborative, curious, and approachable. Sometimes we talk things through. Sometimes we explore patterns. Sometimes we get creative with how emotions are expressed and understood.

One of the most important things I want clients to know is that you don’t have to come into therapy with everything figured out. It’s completely okay if you’re unsure where to begin. My goal is to create a space where you or your child can share thoughts, challenges, and experiences at a pace that feels right. Feeling safe and connected is the foundation for meaningful therapy, and from there we begin building tools that support real change.

Clinically, I have experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation concerns, peer relationship difficulties, and identity exploration. I also support individuals experiencing self-esteem and confidence struggles, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, and experiences related to foster care. Much of my work centers around helping clients develop confidence, strengthen their sense of identity, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

I especially enjoy working with teens and young adult women who are learning to trust themselves and their voice. These years often come with big expectations—academically, socially, and sometimes athletically. I have a strong interest in supporting athletes, particularly teenage and young adult women in sports, who may be navigating performance pressure, perfectionism, identity outside of athletics, or the mental challenges that come with competitive environments. Therapy can be a powerful place to build confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, and create balance between performance, identity, and daily life.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in a person-centered framework, meaning every client’s experience guides the direction of our work. I incorporate elements of play therapy, art, and movement when helpful, allowing younger clients to express themselves in ways that feel natural. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic awareness to help clients build practical emotional regulation tools and coping strategies.

Outside of therapy, creativity and self-expression are a big part of my life. I enjoy painting, finding inspiration through Pinterest and design, exploring new coffee shops, spending time outdoors, and traveling whenever I can. I grew up dancing and still love staying active, which often helps me connect with athletes and clients who find confidence through movement and hobbies. I believe that the things we enjoy—sports, creativity, music, movement—can be powerful parts of emotional wellness.

My hope is that clients leave therapy with more than just insight. I want them to walk away with tools, confidence, and a stronger understanding of themselves. I want clients to feel empowered to trust their voice, take care of their mental health, and move through life with self-compassion and resilience.

If you’re considering therapy for your child, your teen, or yourself as an adult navigating confidence and identity, I’d be happy to walk alongside you in that process.
