Erica Pigford, LCMHC-A

Therapist

For the majority of her career, Erica has worked in mental health and human services in a variety of roles. As a self-proclaimed tribalist, she has long governed her personal and professional pursuits from the perspective that it takes a village not only to raise a child, but to also uplift an individual! For this reason, she has become progressively more passionate about working to support others as they navigate the challenges and changes that are innate to the human experience.

In the past and currently, Erica has worked with crisis intervention and stabilization, trauma-related issues, substance use and addiction, LGBTQIA+ issues, family and attachment-related issues. She has training and experience in the provision of mental health first aid, trauma-informed care, spiritual integration, group counseling, psycho-education, and multiculturally competent care for various marginalized communities.

In her downtime, Erica enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat, Dakota Mars. Traveling, baking, spending time in nature, and karaoke are a few of her favorite forms of self-care, and this list continues to evolve and expand. Ellie’s commitment to using empathy and humor in its support of the whole human is something that Erica has always valued, and partnering with an agency who shares my enthusiasm for a dynamic and more humanizing approach to mental health care is both an honor and privilege for her.
