Emily is a provisionally licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate the ups and downs of life. Emily earned her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University, in addition to her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University. She has experience working with a wide variety of client ages 16+, who struggle with ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Borderline Personality, Boundary Setting, Depression, Family/ Relationship Conflict, Grief, Life Transitions, Stress, Self-Esteem and Trauma. She is also dedicated to being a resource for active and retired military personnel, first responders and their families.
Emily understands that there is no “one size fits all” model when it comes to mental health. She utilizes a collaboration of approaches including Person-Centered, Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strengths Based and Solution Focused Therapy. Her ability to integrate different modalities allows her to provide treatment that is tailored to the needs of each client. With compassion, warmth, and humor, Emily strives to provide a judgment free environment where positive change can be made.
