Elsie Li, MA

Therapist (she/her)

Xinyuan (Elsie) Li holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College, with a focus on children and family wellness. She has experience supporting children, adolescents, and families, working with concerns such as anxiety, emotional regulation, peer relationships, family stress, behavioral challenges, and life transitions.

Elsie believes that children and adolescents often communicate in many different ways, not only through words, so she enjoys using creative activities, play-based interventions, and cognitive behavioral strategies to help young people express their feelings in ways that feel natural and safe for them. In her work, she hopes to walk alongside clients and families as they navigate difficult moments, discover new ways of coping, and move toward growth at their own pace.

As a bilingual clinician fluent in English and Mandarin, Elsie values the role that culture,  identity, and belonging can play in a person’s mental health. She approaches each client’s story with respect and compassion, and works to create a space where clients and families feel seen, understood, and supported.
